Best of 2012 Taylorcraft photos

The rules:

Only one picture per post, please, but you can post as often as you like.

The pictures must have been taken in 2012. The pictures must either contain a Taylorcraft or be taken from a Taylorcraft (we trust your honesty).

The pictures do not have to be yours, but proper photo credit must be given and you must have permission to post the photo if they are not yours.

Anything larger then 1024 wide will be deleted, edited or scrummaged, at my discretion.

And while it is not required it's always nice if you post a little bit of info along with your picture. What, where when, who and how...

...and as in previous years, I make the first offering.

June 2012, the same 4 of us in the Taylorcraft and a 150 Supercub (who flew through the Swiss Alps in 2011) went to my flying partner's holiday home on the Costa Brava, Spain.

This photo is my flying partner John just about to touch down at Girona.

BC12-D in foreground is owned by Mark Julicher, next is Greg House's BC12-D, then Richard "Doc" Hecker's red BC12-D, and then Lon Carr's BC-65. And rightfully in hiding at the back row is a lowly Cessna 140 owned by Vic White. In spite of its inferior appearance and mistique, The tribe allowed his airplane to park among the more attractive and colorful Taylorcrafts. Ha... all in fun. We actually enjoyed Vic's participation and several other folks who flew in various other aircraft at the 2012 Fly-in. We look forward to more of the same at the 2013 Central Texas Taylorcraft Fly-in on April 12-14, 2013.

A fuzzy shot, but this is tail end of my daily morning commute April through September. I burn less fuel than if I drove my F150 to work; and the traffic is much better!
