  • Wheel Greese Seals

    Does anyone know of a sources, for the grease seals, for the Shinn brake system. I need both seals for both hubs. Thanks Rex

    Try the thread below. Mike may still have the outer seals. I bought a set from him some time ago.

      Thot this might be an appropriate place to aske if anyone knows where to get the three long bolts and nuts that hold the wheel halves together. Need a total of 6. thanks, Lee

        Could someone please describe or post a picture of the grease seals and where they go? I'm putting my wheels together as we speak and I hadn't heard about these seals.

            Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they (seals) are the keyed washers on the outside before the axle nut?

              No that is not correct. the "seal" is a separate part. Dave

                I have plenty of outers, no new inners. probably some decent used inners. As far as the bolts, you can use standard sae bolts the correct length, but the originals were serrated or staked depending on the production date.
