Sorry to hear about this Rod, I hope they catch the guy or guys. I had this happen a few years back when I lived north of here and got the guy myself and beat him up pretty bad. The way the law works I when to jail and he got off scott free. So in my case it would have been better if I didn't know who did it.

That is exactly the way it is here, maybe because you work for a living instead of living off the taxpayers. They can fine us . That makes a difference. Marv

If you do catch the guy, you should give him a free airplane ride over a big glacier, and when you get over some really deep crevases, push him out! He won't be missed!

I had a boat that went unridden for 3 years and had to drain the gas that turned to crap and I had 3-5 gal cans on the carport and 3 weeks later while I couln't prove it I am pretty sure the kid down the road stole it and while the cop was there filing the report the kids mother drove up and stated that her kids where not involved and wanted prof that I wanted him charged. I told the cop how bad the gas looked and all he had to do was check the color and the woman left the scene fast. Never did figure out how she knew that I was just filing a complaint and not saying who done it.

Naw, this guy was going south, and in a BIG hurry. The car was NOT a "looker". Fastest "clunker" I have seen since high school. ;-)
                HE got really lucky.

I recently had a big block 67 chevy stolen by an ex employer..he was a car dealer and filed for a lost assigned title...after filling out the form and promising under penalty of perjury that he was the sole owner he got a new title with his name on the front.....then came and took the truck while i was at school.....called the cops da etc and showed them that not only did i have the original title with my name still on it but that i had also still had the only set of keys....they never looked into it because it should be civil and not money producing...
