    The "invisible Zipper" is an Tom Baker Idea. I stole it from him. Hank is exactly right. Working on the cables thru the old style T Zippers is a pain. Attached are a few more pictures of the Headliner.

      WOW, that is the most professional looking installation I have ever seen on a Taylorcraft. I guess I will be going back to the drawing board. You have raised the bar to a whole new level. That is amazing!

        If you have any of the upholstery material left I would make a cover for the baggage compartment covered with it so you can put it over the baggage sling when your headsets and such are in there. Opportunity theft is all about "see it and snatch it". If they don't see something, they are unlikely to go looking around inside the plane, especially of they don't even know there is a sling under there. When the cover is stuck to a few pieces of Velcro it will look like an old time hat shelf.
