I was so happy with all of the help you guys gave when I was drawing the "Miss Liberty" Taylorcraft, it would not have turned out nearly as accurately as it did without the help from the forum. So, much like a stray dog you shouldn't have fed, I'm back for more. I would really like to draw Duane Cole's Clip Wing, and have been able to find many pictures online. I found that the aircraft appears to have undergone several changes throughout the years, and so I've decided to choose a picture and try to draw it as it appeared at that "stage". I've attached the one I chose. I also attached the drawing that I have competed so far (work-in-progress). Much like the earlier drawing, I expect there is a lot I have missed or have drawn inaccurately. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: New Drawing - Duane Cole Taylorcraft
Why settle for what it probably looked like. His plane is in the EAA museum in Oshkosh in it's final configuration. With as many of the Tribe as we have spread around I am betting you can get any detail part photographed by one of us, if not immediately, certainly at the end of July when some of us go to AirVenture.

If one of your drawings could go to the gallery there, I would bet they would take down the barricades for you to get as close as you want.

Re: New Drawing - Duane Cole Taylorcraft
Just remember that Duanes plane in OSH Museum has his last modification with the LYC engine installed(O-235?) Any how I spoke with him not long before he passed away. He was emphatic that the 90 HP Continental as he had the plane for many many years was a better plane he felt. He succomed to the common want for more HP but said if he had to do over he would have left it well enough alone. Just for what its worth. I remember as a lad of 12 watching him perform with the 90. Having just flown in with my dad in our 65 hp craft the first year (1970 ) Of Oshkosh it made a real impression too.
