Great news!
Back in the 40's they would throw a bucket of water on you. That's what my parents did when I soloed back in the 70's.

I didn't get a picture because it wasn't planned. The son of a gun just got out of the airplane and walked away. I was 16 and a month. He muttered something like, "don't mess up my airplane". In my 7th hour. A Piper Colt. Things have changed. Edit!
