    My son made his first solo in a T-craft today. 17 year old high school jr. Yea!

    Come on now, you put a posting like that, and no pictures. I KNOW you took pictures, being the proud father. Lets see that shirt tail cutting and the first landing! Congratulations!!!!

      Great news!

      Back in the 40's they would throw a bucket of water on you. That's what my parents did when I soloed back in the 70's.

      Hope he remains a T-Craft pilot.

          I didn't get a picture because it wasn't planned. The son of a gun just got out of the airplane and walked away. I was 16 and a month. He muttered something like, "don't mess up my airplane". In my 7th hour. A Piper Colt. Things have changed. Edit! In my eighth hour! 7 1/2 hours.

                  I made my first solo in a 1941 BL65 on October 14, 1977. So my son flew a "newer" plane.
