      Re: covered yokes?

Dano "T" posted in a thread titled "Oshkosh" the end of July last year. He posted pictures of a blue and cream Lindy winner. Has covered yokes. It is the #5 post in the thread. You can find it by searching for lindy.

          Re: covered yokes?

I had a BC-12 with the pretzel yokes and a prior owner used steering wheel wrap. The type that was popular back in the 70's and 80's. It came in a long strip, it was perforated and you used lace to put it on. The person who did mine did a fantastic job and it really worked well and looked nice. I may have a picture of it somewhere.

I've seen Tom's Deluxe yokes and they are gorgeous. Best looking Taylorcraft yoke made, in my opinion.

                    Re: covered yokes?

FWIW....here are a couple shots of my '38 yokes. I used linen butcher cord and then varnished 3x. Those indents at 12 o'clock are from my knuckles at the beanfield "landing".
