  • O-200 prop

    Group,
I am currently restoring my 1978 F-19. It has an O-200 and I am looking for a prop. There is a 1A105/scm 6950 here for sale locally for about $700 and it's off a Cessna 150. I will attach a picture, the spinner in the picture will not be used on the T-craft. My altitude is 4400 here at the field just north of SLC Utah. There are only 2 props called out in the TC and the other is a 1B90/cm 7442, I am wondering which would be best. Thanks for any input.

Is this something I should steer away from? Save my $$ for a purchase another day?

So Larry, are you willing to sign off the annual?

Expect to overhaul it, unknown hours, blades might be coned foreward, pitch might be marginal, length. Purchase it with the stipend that it will pass an overhaul inspection. Tim

The 69-50 was the land plane prop the 74-43 was the Seaplane prop. I was the test pilot and the factory used the 69-50 from my C-150 to do initial flight tests and it just stayed that way....
The "polished prop" is an item to consider. Will it be airworthy on a Standard Category aircraft? check with you IA .... I doubt it! Big discussion a while back.

There's always paint to solve those type of prop problems...

For me the longer prop works much better.
