The prewar tip bows, truss type tip ribs and tip leading edges are all quite different from the postwar bows, stamped tip ribs and outboard leading edges. You can't mix and match prewar and postwar parts on the tips, all one or the other. You would have to cut the prewar tip bows down to fit with the stamped tip rib, but don't do that!!!

Depends upon ser# of post war too! 48M would take normal post war ; It probably has nav light bracket welded in too...
