Not a Crate or a Cart.
(but it's OK to call Austers these).

I always use T-Craft, but I'm sure it's optional. I share, but privately, your distain for the flying qualities of the Auster. Years ago I attended an Auster fly-in at Old Warden and got to fly in several. Couldn't believe how heavy and slow they were. But I didn't say anything, because the hospitality of the pilots far overshadowed their plane's lack of performance. Great hosts everywhere, even went to a barbecue at a farm strip. Wonderful memories.
