Yea we have a rotisserie too. As a matter of fact I have built a nice steel set now for my wing and future fuselage work. for Tims we had a set that worked made out of wood that worked but were not user friendly. so from that I built a set that are one person operable. L

Like Kevin says, start low temp, then work up in steps. The "bagging" is very common when fabric is shrunk in just one step, or not to the right temps or thorough enough. I've seen alot of it here in Montana (big temp differences in a 24 hour period here!) and have had some people pretty angry when I tell them that just because they did something wrong for 30 years, doesn't make it right. The "dope" systems always taughten, so the effects of poor workmanship with the iron weren't as noticeable, but not so with the other systems.
The most common mistake I see people make is to move too fast and not repeat enough passes! If you have the iron set correctly, you can leave it on the fabric all day with no ill effects...if it's not right, I have seen some pretty funny effects! The systems out there all have some pretty "user friendly" attributes..some more than others. Stewarts has BY FAR the strongest adhesive...both in shear as well as peal.... BY FAR!!! Fabric work is all about "not getting in a rush". Take your time, enjoy it, and it'll treat you well for a long long time.
The fabric comes from the same mill...just different end users, and markings.....at least that's what we were always told.
