Re: Antique Airplane Assoc, Fly In
We attended the AAA fly-in via RV this year and had a nice time. There were some very nice Taylorcraft airplanes there. I met John Frisbee and his wife. Very nice folks. Walked the flight line several times looking for other Tcrafters and only met one other... Kevin K. with a sweet clip-wing. I did not have the chance to meet Eric but he was parked beside Kevin in his clipwing - saw him upside down a few times. Bob Snider had his VERY nice DCO-65 there also. I really enjoyed looking over his beautiful airplane. Here are some Tcraft photos...Terry Bowden, formerly TF # 351

Re: Antique Airplane Assoc, Fly In
I watch the Antique Airplane web site often. The workmanship and the type aircraft are WONDEROUS! If One considers the labor and expertise that goes into a Staggerwing or say an F24 Fairchild, etc . etc......it boggles the mind. I sure wish I lived near that place! And how 'bout those T Crafts?! Very Nice! AND....that good looking polished prop! Looks like my old McCauley. JCLast edited by jim cooper; 09-12-2011, 19:21.
