  • Anyone know the part number?

    Hi All,
Does anyone know the part number of this wing rib? Picture is attached (I hope).
    Thanks,
    Hal

I think it might be a 1403-1R from a REALLY old parts and price list. How old? A whole aileron is $45.00!

Wow that really is an old list. I was also thinking that it may be a "0890-2L TCRAFT REINF RIB FOR 1403-1" as listed on the Uinvair web site. Could that be possible?

Could be. I have the wing drawing for pre-war and some of the post-war for the 45 but they are really hard to read. Why do you need the number?

I need the part number so that I can order one from Univair. Or perhaps one of the tribe has a spare to sell. I need the left hand version.

Lot of wrecked wings out there. I am betting one of the tribe has one. If not, I have one out of the plane we could make a copy of (for my 45). I am betting when my parts list was printed I could buy a whole wing for less than a new rib will cost now!

              Hi Hank,
I hope you made it through the hurricane alright. I think that I will just buy one from Univair. I have to place an order with them anyway and the rib is not very expensive.
              Thanks,
              Hal
