  • Looking for a new love.

Monday morning at 5:30 AM we had 125 mph winds move through KVTI. My beautiful and beloved Aeronca Chief was one of the victims. The damage was too extensive to pay to have repairs done so the insurance is calling it a total. Looks like I'm in the market for a new airplane, and a decent T-Craft would be one of the possibilities. I'm checking the usual sources, but if anyone on the list has local knowledge of a nice one for sale in the midwest, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

    Thanks,
    Rick,

I just looked at a Trade A Plane and there were several, though locations weren't listed on all of them.
      Cheers,

Rick if interested I can put you in touch with a beautiful Chief located in CA. The gentleman who owns her (retired naval avaiator) rebuilt her and has done several other aircraft even older and more rare. Larry
