  • L2 bungee tool

Does anyone have a drawing of a bungee tool for an L2 that I can get a copy of, or a tool to sell.

    Re: L2 bungee tool

I have my own version of an L2 tool.

So far I have only used it myself, rented or loaned it.

I am very "picky" about what I do with it because I have invested significant time and effort.

I don't want to have someone make drawings from it and copy it at my expense.

So I have a dilemna as you can see

It is much more complex than the "B" model tool and expensive to produce.

Perhaps the dilemna is resolved by making the price high so that the buyers investment has meaning to him as well as me. I am really unsure about this part.

At each use I make another improvement.

The last usage occurred in May 2011 and I have one last mod to make from that experience.

If you have strut assemblies to send perhaps we can work out a deal where I install new cords for you? Might be a "hookey" idea though.

      Re: L2 bungee tool

When I was out at Alliance for the fly-in a couple of weeks ago I completely forgot to ask Forrest to dig up the tool so I could look at it and take pictures. I remember seeing one in a picture somewhere, and if I remember correctly it was a fancy version of a pry bar. (Dave, I have a feeling yours is probably a bit more thought out than that). I wish I could remember where I saw it.
      Cheers,
