Yes, we who helped out at the factory tent during Oshkosh talked a lot about it amongst ourselves (and to many visitors) that week. Harry still needs to get some further clarification of the ground rules for the Light Sport construction, but with minor differences, it will be an F19 with an O-200 Continental........no flaps, and a small baggage compartment.
Should be a great plane, just as the old F19's were! Congratulations on your new purchase! I am hoping to have one of Harry's new machines at my disposal one of these days.

Jon, thanks. I too am looking forward to receiving my new T-Craft. Hope it come about. Always afraid something will go wrong or they go out of business about the time is half finished.
It's happened to others , large deposit then no more factory and no airplane. I worry a little about that.
I want to talk to Harry a little more. Hoping for the smaller windows (D type) over the baggage in place of the large windows. Personally don't car for those. And the old type classic pants.
My "Yellow Duck" Haven't completly figured what I will do with it. Would like to keep it also; but I have had two planes before, and one doesn't get flown very much. But would certainly like to keep it. Pretty neat little "T-Cart" Will see, have lots of time.
I live in South Louisiana, New Iberia. about 125 miles South West of New Orleans and 250 miles East of Houston TX. My home is about 10 miles as the crow flies from the Gulf of Mexico.
Lee,
If this latest one comes up the Gulf towards you, batten down, fire up the plane and fly it to someplace inland the hurricane isn't going. I could not stand to see another photo of a wrecked Taylorcraft. Sabrina
