To tell the truth, getting the bird refurbished and in the air was the easy part. Getting the photo posted was a #*&%%$#. But thanks to Bob Lee I "GOTT'ER DONE". I am going to post some more pics pretty quick. If anyone has any ?'s about the conversion I'd be happy to let you all know what I did and what I would do different.

I'll be more than happy to share any info or answer any ?'s that anyone might have. I have rec several emails re the conversion-how hard is it, how much does it cost, ect, ect. If you have a major like I did and went crazy on the engine, plan on spending at least 15K on the whole project. That is if you already have the aircraft. If you have a solid C85-12F plan on around 5-8K depending on how much of the work that you hire done.
The one quest that was asked several times was "Is it worth it?"
In my opinion,"YOU BET!" You will have an electrical system, better climb performance, a longer range, a 1500 GW and overall, a great airplane.
One thing, for those in the tribe that want hyd brakes-rebuild the Shinn's!! They will perform well and mine will hold 03 at full static rpm.(and you won't try to plow up the runway with the prop!)
That's about all I can think of. If anyone has questions they can email me or call. I do the best that I can to advise or help.

O.K. Paul, HOW did you do it, and WHICH program did you use. Tell me step by step, I've been trying to load a photo of me making a flyby for a week, and I can't get it on this site OR the gallery.
You gota watch the file size, if it's to big (over 7k bytes) it won't work. Also when your posting the image you won't see it in the body of the mesage like you see the text you type.
In the "vB code" section of the reply form click the "IMG" button
In the "attach file" section click the "browse" button to select the desired file from your hard drive
Thanks, I was forgetting to click the browse button, here is another from inside the plane, same flight. I LOVE THIS PLANE !!!
Someone could offer to trade me a 400 H.P. Commanche, and I'd look at him and laugh. There's two kinds of pilots, those who own Taylorcrafts, and those who WISH they did.
