Nice find. Man I love that airplane. Flew in one first time when I was 13. Ozark Airlines. Won an essay contest. Pilot let us come up front at night. Beautiful. Loved flying at night ever since.

There was a restored DC-3 painted up in Ozark colors in Bloomington, Illinois for quite some time. I think it was sold, though, as I have not seen it recently. Link to some photos: http://www.douglasdc3.com/ozark/ozark.htm

I think they lost an engine, and was trying to come up with enough money to replace it.

It is not in Bloomington any more. Can't remember where it went. George

It went to an aircraft restoration company in Florida in 2009. Here is the newspaper article: http://www.pantagraph.com/news/artic...3400f0b3d.html

Well a decent story but did anyone notice who published it? The same paper that thinks putting up video's of people being beheaded is OK too!
