  • Tire Question

My annual is due this month and I want to replace my tires and tubes. Does anyone have any suggestion on the best place to buy? I've had a broken foot and can't get to the airplane so I'm also wondering what the right size is. All suggestions appreciated.

One more thing, last year we replaced the wheel bearings but my mechanic is telling me that there is some kind of a washer on the inside of the wheel that is thin and should be replaced. I thought that would have been taken care of with the bearings but apparently not. Does anyone know the part he is talking about?

    Thanks everyone!

    Re: Tire Question

There is a thin washer between the hub/bearing and the brake assembly and the brake assembly attach screws. It is very thin by design.

It is hard for me to imagine the reason that it would need to be replaced.
