yeah, microsoft is a master of concealment and misdirection, they take the same old code function and hide it under a maze of window sequences rather than illuminate us with usefull knowledge

    do I sound biased?

Comments on taste coming from the UK? This from the country (Empire) that made my MGA?

Whats next, exporting Wimpy hamburgers too?

            Bob,

When I click on an attached image (to make it larger), nothing happens with Google Chrome. It seems to work OK with Internet Explorer and with Opera, but not chrome. Just for your info.

I just wonder how you all are able to export rust? I mean is there some special process used to treat the sheet metal so it starts rusting in all those out of the way places. I'm talking Tucson Arizona and its still rusted.

                    Re: new software questions

                    Hi Bob O.

I noticed that when I do a post that the submit buttons are white text on dirtywhite background.

Can you make it a black text?

Also while I am making requests any chance that we can make the backround of a post white rather than blue and the background of the quotes blue rather than white?

                    Thanks, Dave

                      are you fricking nuts?

(ok really, I agree none of this looks very good. The fine people that I BUY this software from completely changed whats under the hood from what was pretty ugly into really super complicated butt ugly in how you change the settings. They are not options you just click on, its java/php and their own programming language disguised as a easy to administer web interface that just leads you to editing source code. There is a huge long list of cryto names for each of these object and no road map. The icons are appear to be pictures that I have to go find and fiddle with photoshop or something, etc. I have a list of things to change, I'll work on them. go have a beer.)

                        Bob,
You have a lot more patience than I do. Computer stuff drives me nuts. As long as I can make it work and read the information I am happy. Shoot, I have spent my whole life thinking color schemes were ugly. This is just one of the first times others have agreed with me!
                        Hank

I have a feeling you actually kind of like taking a program apart and making it do what you want.

                          Re: new software questions

I have put up with this "stuff" for a living since forever. Its fustrating because I know if can be done better. Not unlike staring at the wiring harness under the panel and armed only with an test light...

Like everyone else I would rather be out at the airport with greasy hands and a bench covered with tools that sitting all night in front of PCs...
on the other hand, its cheaper, I dont have to pee on the tires and the dogs dont drive around and yell "Hey, you you can't do that".

I found some alternative styles and one for smartphones that I'll be loading tonight I hope.

                            Re: new software questions

there is a lot of chatter about this issue on the VB support forum, and the usual finger pointing at the web browser(s). there is a workaround that I'll see if we can do without screwing up the other users of the server we share...

Other than the possible workaround I'm not sure what else I can do about this for now.

Blue1 is a lot better, IMHO. TF Blue was, well, making me blue...

oh I can read blue1 and my buttons have black on white instead of white on white
