      Re: Why???

Just another forum format. Maybe I can suggest using the young kid method of dealing with computers and the internet: just keep punching buttons until it works. Not many fatalities from operator error on home computers. Chuckle.

          Re: Why???

I am already pretty much used to the new format. I would like to make two requests though. First is I REALLY liked the picture of the Taylorcraft nose at the top of the old pages. It really said this was the Taylorcraft page. Second, the little bubbles when you first open the forum or each section have almost NO contrast in the colors to tell you if there are unread posts (at least on my machine). I didn't even realize they were different colors at first and you can't see the difference if there is a strong light on in the room.
Any chance we could get a bit more contrasting colors (or better yet something like a cowl that is open if there are unread and closed if not).

            Hey Hank,
You're still using a monochrome monitor.
Things don't have to be black and green anymore. They sell these new fangled color monitors now. Some of them are real thin too.

The "view first unread post disappears after I have gone thru several post. Is this normal?

                  Hank,

The logo is somethign I have to program back in, will do when things settle down.

Colors and such on the pages is something thats set in a global profile. when there is more than one profile available you can pick (similar to picking a desktop look in windows). previously the default was a spiced up version I created back in 2006. I have to set that up too.

Hi Bob glad to see things are settling down ; your conversation with me put it all clear . I had a great day ; out to Breakfast back to rolling on both runways ; Skydiving operations ( 3) . Had visitor from the Ukraine, off to the Mall tonight with Patty. IRS next week, Doug Taylor stopped by in the Navion . The realtor with a client interested in the airport conatcted me again. Many Irons in the fire . Come on SPRING weather ; I AM ready. Hope all make it back safelyd from Sun-N-Fun... I am sick about the L-2M that got damaged.
