    Re: '40 BL-65 wings on a '41 BC-65??

Does anyone have the drawing of the stick built ribs? Are they in the archive from the factory?
If not I may have another drafting job to do. I plan to talk to Forrest soon (sorry, we keep missing connections) and I will ask if he has the original drawings. If he does (or if I need to make some) we will also need a tooling drawing if we are going to build ribs from virgin stock.

Look at it this way, pretty soon the tribe will be able to build more parts than the factory! Combined with our RELIABLE parts suppliers we need to be ready to buy the TC the next time Taylorcraft flops. Not that I don't REALLY HOPE the next factory owners make a go of it, but history is telling and when a company fails as many times as Taylorcraft has, it usually only comes back to life when the true enthusiasts own the rights.

Does any one know if the material in the early Cub wings is the same as tcraft if it is that is a way to make this a little more profitable as you have a lot more customers this could be a way for the foundation to make some money Chuck

I have drawings, "Duke" Iden designed this tooling stuff and methods of manufacture. . It is quite expensive & labor intensive to do. Wag-Aero has stuff but the dies are really worn out. I will look into it , send me some elves to help out...
