  • What are these for?

    I'm trying to figure out what these brackets are for on the bottom of the fuse of my 1940 model B. I looked at Richard Pearson's '46 the other day and he didn't have these. One is located near the back by the handles and the other centered on the diagonal tube under the seat area.

    I'll venture to guess that someone added those as antenna attachments for the old wire type antenna.

          I still haven't figured this out so they are getting cut off. I liked the tailhook idea but since I don't have a carrier endorsement I shouldn't need them.

                Those are the ag plane conversion attachment points for the spray booms. You just need the tank and a fan driven pump and you can go into the cropdusting business.
