I commend Greg on a long hard fought battle. I would hate to see his attorney bill on this one

There may still be drawers of Taylorcraft engineering data in cabinets in Brownsville. Last I saw them was 2008, but they had not been touched. Still a room of dwg and data in the same cabinets that were transported from Delaware- and probably Alliance.

I have not heard one word from the new owners in 18 months. They put up a construction page on their "website" over two years ago and have never changed it. As far as I know they are still occupying the building at 2124 Central Ave, Brownsville, TX 78521-5216

I am sure that what ever certifications they had from the FAA are gone as they are now longer a "going concern". The difference here is that they still possess the TC data- it has never been released to the public domain. So Freedom of Information Act may not work in this case.

That was my first question when I read this. The answer to that being well how does it work on the Taylorcraft issue. It would appear clearly that the Public Domain issue could be the game changer... not aware that the Taylorcraft stuff was ever opened to the Ppublic Domain by any owner. Now IF it can be proven that The Aircraft has not been supported by the holder of the TC , I would think a good case could be made that it is not... Then what ? Still this is a nice victory.. Perhaps someone can chime in and draw a clearer line to the Taylorcraft ?

not to spill the beans but the "new" company only has the 1A9 & 696 ; 699, 700 and others are out there. Then there is PIMA with the 746.
I will keep following the situation. thank u Mike for the report .
