Anyone using 37BY plugs in the A-65 or A-75?
I know they worked wonders eliminating plug fouling in my O-300 powered 172. But unsure about the lower compression continentals.
They ARE approved for the A-65 through O-300. Don't know about others though.

    Thanks,

It looks like yes for Champion REM37BY. The Tempest chart show differences depending on engine model for the UREM37BY.

I have aCherokee 180 that I switched from Champions to Tempest. I think the Tempest are a better plug. You may need to buy a new spark plug socket for the Tempest. They require an "extra deep" socket due to the smaller wrenching area.Tempest Plugs.pdf

I have them in the top, back when they were autolites. Tim

Do they clear the cowling without bumps?

            Tim,
What kind of terminals are you using at the plug end with the 37's. I have cups now and am not real happy with them. Would like to try 37's.

I used just straight fittings and my upper cowling is custom fit to clear. It worked real good with the new slick harness. Tim
