    Howdy Tribe:

Well, N39203 is getting much closer to flying!! During the conversion to the model 19, the a&p installed the aux wing tank; however, I am now missing the metal ring that fits around the filler neck and is glued to the fabric!!! I have no idea what happened to the d**** thing but I completely cleaned the hangar today and still can' t locate same. If anyone has a spare on know where one can be found I would appreciate it muchly. In other words, I will pay dearly.

Any help will be appreciated.( the factory ain't got'ny!)
    Best Regards

I would strongly suggest that the gap between the fabric and the filler neck be completely sealed to prevent fuel from leaking into the wing and running down the top surface of the tank.

Fuel impregnation / damage to the rear spar butt can be difficult to detect and potentially very serious.
