  • Luscombe Exhaust

    Hi.
I'm going to put a Luscombe exhaust on my Taylorcraft using Terry Bowden's paperwork. Those of you who has done this conversion, where did you get the parts from (Spruce Wag Univair)?

    Thank You
    Peter

      Re: Luscombe Exhaust

I got a coated (aluminium?) right hand exhaust manifold from Wag Aero. They are high on lots of items, but at the time their price was the best I could find. Shop carefully for the shrouds/heat exchangers as there is quite a variation in price.

        Re: Luscombe Exhaust

        Thanks.
Right now Wag Aero looks like the best deal on the stacks and the left heat shroud. Univair want $500.00 plus for the right heat shroud, I'm still looking!
        I will check with Dawley.
Stainless steel stacks run $900.00 plus a pair but last much longer.
