    Forrest,

The FAA does not have the drawings, seems the T-Craft factory did not release all of the dwg's through the years of acquisition!

If someone could find a picture of a Taylorcraft with the installation that would help greatly. Main area of concern is the nose bowl, fairing of the nose bowl to the spinner assembly.

    Thank you for your help!

      Re: McDowell Starter

I have the 4 pages of the original company instructions, with photos, for the McDowell starter on a Taylorcraft, and a copy of the Form 337 that was used to install on my aircraft (approval date 2-8-1967), and one sheet of additional tips for installation. Please PM me and I will e-mail the jpg files to you. Anyone else interested also, and perhaps Forrest for the Foundation? Hope that might be helpful! I can't seem to upload the files to this site... Wow! That was really interesting reading those instructions. And the pictures were really nice. I will probably never install one of those on my plane, but I really enjoyed seeing how it is done.

Check on an Ercoupe spinner, its perfect. Tim

The installation is for a 65 the 85 installation is a little different.
