  • OSH Parking

    Howdy:

Last year one of the guys on the list was able to get a Taylorcraft row at OSH. Just wondering if that was happening again for this year? If anyone knows who/how to contact...let me know off-line and I will volunteer to help get it done.

I am planning on attending again from the Monday to Thursday. Hope to meet more Tcrafters this year than I did last year!

We had a nice row last year courtesy of someone hope it happens again.
I am confirming the forumn today . It is Thursday 7-29-04 03 Castrol Pavilion "Care & feeding of your Taylorcraft" I was unable to get near the Taylorcraft row last year, I flew a 1967 Cherokee ( Contemporary ship , SAME area) on purpose to haul all the Foundation stuff.
THEN "TOO TALL TOM" met me for the second year in a row and pitched me out into the outfield. Geoff seems to turn a deaf ear to Taylorcrafts..... I will fly the BC12D this year and park wherever I want!!

I am planning on going to Oshkosh this year. Where will the Taylorcraft people be congregating?

I would like to meet as many Taylorcrafters as possible.

          No Club Row

I finally got in touch with Geof Robinson, the parking guru in the classic area. Unfortunately he informs me that we are too late to get a "club" row at OSH. Parking assignments are determined in February...we'll have to remember that for next year. (Unless some of you guys with more EAA prestige than me, can wangle a few spots)

In my experience, the earlier you arrive...ie before opening Tuesday, the more likely your we'll be able to park with similar aircraft...ie not stuck in the middle of Navion Row...(nothing againest 'em, except when they start up and blow my tent down)

          See some of you there...Homsie
