hmmm Sorry, I am wrong about that.

The correct answers are there. But the wrong ones are too.

I know the correct ones so I only see those.

I have to run and can't sort it out for you right now.

Yes, Richard, you are correct. I don't know the dimension, but the spars are required to be parallel.

Shims were (and are) required to allow for compression strut length and/or spar thickness variation due to manufacturing tolerances.

As you know, trammelling identifies any out-of-tolerance situation, so allowing the builder (and restorer) to get the dimensions right.

Some time ago there was a thread started about drawings of the wings. People had questions about rib locations and other assembly questions. It would be really nice to have a set of those drawing to help people get the correct information. We don't need all of the drawings of every part in the wing, but general assembly information, just like what is being asked here.

They have been copied and are on the computer. This new one can burn to disc ; Grand-Son Daniel is starting work today to burn and ship . Do not expect for about two weeks ; I was getting them ready for the Fly-In . they will be distributed through Barber Aircraft . send request to [email protected] probably around $10.00 hang tight we may just put other useful drawings on the same disc.... Daniel is showing Grand-Pa all about this stuff...
