Started annual today went to pick up on the left wing to block the Axel to check the brakes and grease the bearings could feel a clunk when I picked up on the wing. Well long story short, the fitting on the end of the front spar is worn out will need to remove the wing and replace the fitting. I think it is called a butt fitting. Can you buy a new fitting or do I look for a used one? thank you

Check the bolts, fuselage fittings too! Mic the bolts, drill & ream the fittings; check the "factory" ones for sizes too. Fitting holes can be made smaller then reamed for fit. They should tap into place.Taylorcraft Foundation, Inc
