Can anyone help me out with the torque values of the prop bolts, and the crankcase through bolts for a C-85-F engine, with a metal prop and a flanged crankshaft ? I will be forever grateful for the info.

From Page 80 of the overhaul manual:

        Re: Torque values

Get yourself an overhalu manual if you're messing with the through studs.

The torque values given above are for a wooden prop. Metal props are 360 inch lbs (or 300, depending on who you ask...)

Also pay attention to the torque sequence to save yourself some heartaches later down the road.

Thanks for your input, John and Terry. Where can I purchase an overhaul manual?

              Re: Torque values

Both Sens, and MCaulley have the torque values on their websites, based on what prop you have. Tim

                Re: Torque values

Dry torque of 25-30 Ft. LBS. will install your propeller correctly. As long as it is a flange mount, not a tapered flange installation.

                Hope this helps, thanks.
