Hmmm, I might have to invest in one of those. How did you get the iPod to stick to the panel? What kind of battery does it run off?

        The sound system looks sweet.

What happens if you want to take a passenger...does the young lass go in the back to provide the music?

I've considered some sort of lashup like that...I can visualize flying through Lake Clark Pass or over the Chigmit Mts. behind Drift River...headset poundin' out... "Stayin Alive" by the Bee Gees...!!

          "Ah, ha, ha, ha...Stayin' aliiiiiive...!"

The ipod gets charged by plugging the cord into the computer....I attached it with velcro, the music plays through the headsets via the intercom...you can still have conversation both to co-pilot and via radio....the music just plays in the background at a chosen volume....the cell phone works they same way through the intercom....you just start talking when someone calls....one touch of the ipod and you can turn it off if you need quiet.

Tribesman N74DV is at Falcon Field. He does the video thing with his RC choppers too.
Most fun in the area is in Chandler (for nerds like me anyway) - Organ Stop Pizza - Incredible place.

2-9volt alkeline batteries....documentation says it will operate on just one....but will last up to 50 hrs with 2. My other intercom is similar so I can vouch.

as far as the ipod goes, another thing worthy of note is that it has a web browser...so if you go someplace that has wifi you can go on-line....it has a weater aplication...googlemaps....Taylorcraft.org....what ever you want. It's pretty cool.
