Well.......I did it. I bought another plane. This time, for a change, I didn't buy a Taylorcraft. Just flew home a Stinson 108-3. I got a good deal on a plane I am familiar with and was in need of a four place plane so......
Believe me, it wasn't easy to convince my wife we needed airplane number four! She is a GEM! (It helps to marry a fellow student from a Aeronautical University)
Am keeping the Stinson with the D model on a grass strip here in N.E. Ohio (7D6). I told my son if he finishes our '46 BC12D he can have it, but....... he hasn't been working too hard on it.
When we flew the plane home, my son was thrilled it had a starter. He has only ever hand proped the planes he has flown so he sees the starter as some new invention!
It's great to have good flying weather return to NE Ohio.
