Pricing was mostly determined by what it costs in terms of development and certification, and what the benefits of the device are for aircraft owners. I wanted it to be reasonably IN-expensive compared to most STC aircraft mods. "Knots 2U" sells a pair of improved vent ducts made from vacuformed plastic for Cessnas that does nothing more than make you more comfortable with the ventilation... for $1395.00.
This device would work on 120/140/150 aircraft but it is not needed as much, because the seats are much closer to the flap handle and the handle is shorter. The principleis the same and I will be glad to sell one to an owner of those airplanes if he/she needs it (injury, physical challenge etc.) but it will be on a one-shot 337 form instead of added to the STC.
