I was looking at the Baumann amphibs at the Geenvill Me.flyin. They are using a 4 in. wheel for the mains and a pretty light nose wheel. This will hold up ok for pavement but I would not want to use this arangment much on any rough service. The brakes are hyd. also so that would mean a hyd. cyl. mounted somwhere for the brakes, maybe cabels to the floats and everything mounted in the floats? At $10300.00 for 33 lbs of stuff, I would give the amph. floats a lot of thought ! Baumann makes a good product though !!
