      Victor,

You send me a cheque for £4000 in GBP in International funds along with a colour photo of your chosen aircraft, I pass £2000 to a skilled radio modeller; he will within 12 months mail you a 1/4 scale flyable model (9 foot span), with 4-stroke diesel engine, radio gear, all necessary paraphernalia required to fly, to suit colour scheme of said chosen aircraft.

I keep the other £2000 for myself.

Or you could find someone who likes your aeroplane who wants to build at his expense a 1/4 scale flyable model of it.

      Rob

This model won the UK Nationals in 1997

        Quarter Scale T-Craft

Do you know if there are plans available for this 1/4 scale model? If so, how would I go about obtaining a set?

Phil Kent did the plans, his UK-based website is http://www.acf.clara.net/phillkent/scale-plans.html

but there are also many others in the US.

(oops, link doesn't work; I will research to find where he is)

Lee, good to hear from you again on this subject, did you have no luck reaching the plans author back in Feb '02?

This thread is an IMG test thread, see this link to see the reason. In the meantime, here's another IMG link:

            Quarter Scale T-Craft

Thanks for the rapid response. I did not get any quarter scale plans back in Feb. '02 due to learning just how difficult it is to learn how to fly radio control planes. I have had some spectacular crashes with my trainers and am just now getting to the point where I can think about building a plane that I REALLY don't want to crash.
            Thanks again,
            Lee

              Model

              Hi Robert,
That is a great model. I use to fly radio control years ago. I have been know to take a few of them home in a paper bag. I would hate to take someting like that home in a paper bag.
