I have 2 sets of cast grills made off of my 41 delux set. need polishing better than the oem.would need 350.00 includeing shipping. the prewar nose bowel is 1/2 in shorter than than the postwar. tom baker

Tom does your set have the wings that curl around the nose bowl? I would be very interested but need to try them in my bowl first I guess. I might make a day trip down to see you and bring my bowl along to test.

I will try to make a paper template of the "winged" grill you can hold up to your bowl if I can get to the hangar this weekend (if you can't get down to see Tom).

Personally, I would rather spend some time with Tom than get a letter from me, but that's just me.

Well if Tom has a hot offer he will have to take it as I will not get time to make the trip down until fall. (Unless I can talk my buddy in to taking me down in his Cozy) I had forgotten about him, he is still getting used to the speed. He built it himself moving up from a Team mid-wing (can not remember the name right now, but volkswagen, 65mph cruise, etc.) He finished it up about 3 years ago. His cruise is now around 160 plus!
