  • F-21B ready for Test Flight

Tribe, I have been looking for a test flight checklist. Searched all over. Anyone seen one?

    Tom,

I have a file from the EAAs website that might work for you. Email me at [email protected] and I will attach it to an email back to you. Or if you are a member, just do a search for test flight.

Maybe we should take the general EAA version and get together and do one specific to Taylorcrafts? I would like to work on it. Anybody else?

Me too, there may be something useful I can add...

Here are a few things off the top of my feeble mind:

Positive control check with simulated airframe loads applied
Test flight location that offers emergency options and no radio distractions!
Three sets of experienced eyes on all control systems, safeties and airframe attachments
Leak test on fuel system with full fuel and slight overpressure
"Chafe test" on anything that can move or flex
Carbon Monoxide indicator installed and tested
        Fresh air strong clean source
