    Re: African Taylorcraft Restoration

    Hi Gang,

Here's some pics from the move of N96048 to my garage at home. Cannot wait to unpack all those boxes, it's like Christmas. This first batch is the loadup and I'll post some more of the unload.

    Best Regards,
    Charles

      Hi Gang,

Here's some of the unloading, it was getting dark by the time we'd finished so I will post some more of the pieces later (espcially the nests in the wing roots and the ailerons).

      Best Regards,
      Charles

To all the tribe members, I'm the bearer of sad news.

Charles Flee or CFLEEPIO as known here has passed away end of last year after complications during heart surgery. He was not very healthy the last few years, thus the lack of progress on his projects. He was president of our EAA chapter and we will always remember him as an enthusiastic aviator and friend.

Oh my word, that is dreadful news Zak, I had no idea that Charles was ill. I only knew him through this forum, and his enthusiasm with his project was wonderful!

Please pass on my best wishes to Charles' next of kin if you can; my thoughts are with them.
