L-2 vs BC12 Stabilizer

We have an L-2A in the shop with a bent Horizontal and awe have a good BC12 horizontaal that appears to be the same design. Are they interchangable?

YES same part number . That is from the Model D Taylorcraft , it was the L-2 series . then the BC12D used the same 2 hinge tail.

They are the same if you have a 2 hinge BC12 stab, you just need to transfer over the trim pulley bracket

The early tandems use the SAME surface, IF you have a complete cable trim system then you have to modify as Kevin says.
