Re: Picture of the week
Yup, the E-Bunny showed up early in my hangar this year..........
It's spring break for a lot of schools so we have many visiting families this week. I've got a gig to do tomorrow night to hand out Easter Baskets and goodies as the E-Bunny......"Captain Jon" Timlin

Re: Picture of the week
Jon,
you don't know how happy it makes me to see someone else with a big ol' pan underneath his Taylorcraft!! I always feel a little guilty about the amount of oil mine drips to "mark territory."
Nice bunny suit, too. What is the approximate terminal velocity of an Easter egg when dropped from a Taylorcraft, anyway?
Thanks for the nice pic!

Re: Picture of the week
Don't assume a pan under a cowl means the engine leaks. The airport where I am REQUIRES a pan under every engine (although most don't so it). I have a very nice pan under mine and have never had a drop in it.
Hank
OK, I once was very glad it was there on an especially exciting oil change. WHAT A MESS!

Re: Picture of the week
OK, let's just call him the "T-ster Bunny"............
and the oil pan........... it does catch a few drops after each flight from the breather tube. Those few drops disperse, then as the the hangar door commences it's opening, a low pressure area is momentarily created, sucking in fine sand from the "lawn" outside which sticks in the oil making it look like a bigger leak than it is. I did try polishing the pan, but the sand kept scratching it................ : )"Captain Jon" Timlin
