The washers are beautiful. How can I get a set? Also I noticed you were looking for .095. I had this same problem when producing new wing butt fitting for my 85hp STC. I found that the .100 4130 that was produces was actually closer to .095. which is wat the Harer STC caled for. Something about nominal sizeing in the metal business.
I'm off to work again tomorrow and I'll be away from my workshop until next Monday. Hopefully I can get half a dozen plated tomorrow and ready to go for next week. When I have some done, I'll post here and interested parties can send me a PM with shipping info. I'll check into USPS options next week, too.
Josh I posted here yesterday but that post is still in the ether somewhere. Anyway, Thanks, they are beautiful, and the check is in the mail! As a matter of fact you may have it already. I bought a set for my buddy Tim as we as we will be rebuilding both his brakes and mine in a couple of weeks. Again Thanks!

I had 20 of these lasered out of 13 ga (0.090") 304 stainless steel.
I haven't tried them on my airplane yet. But I don't need but 2 of them. If you want a couple, let me know.
OK Richard. No problem. Let me try them out on my axle this weekend. then I'll PM you early next week to get your mailing address. No money required on your part.
I put my washers on my TCraft this weekend. The "key" portion was slightly too large to fit on one of my axles.
The width of the key was called out at 0.156". I measured 0.155" as built (lasered). But I filed it to about 0.145" wide before it fit.
Richard and anyone else who wants a pair, I have 8 pairs like this. You can have a pair, but you may have to file a little off.
Or if anybody wants to wait, I'll can make new batch with a slightly narrower key (0.145"). It may take a month.
Send me a PM with your address and which ones you want.
Tim
Tim,
I found that my washers didn't quite fit either, but I don't think it was in the new washer itself. After years of loose fitting washers and taking wheels off and on, the threads terminating at the keyway were a little bunged up. I cleaned the keyway-thread junction carefully with a small triangular file, and after very little cleanup of minute amounts of peened over threads, the washers fit perfectly.

Yeah, I think that you're right. I surely had the same problem on mine because I noticed that the "as built" key fit fine a little further back (behind the first couple of threads). In retrospect, I wish that I had done what you did. i.e. Cleaned up the keyway instead of the key.
