    Re: Airspeed In the PATTERN

I also have an F-22 that I recently put vortex generators on and with 30° of flaps power off 39 or 40 was the best I could do for stall speed , and near as I can tell. Roughly 2 to 3 miles an hour for the 10 and 20° setting give or take personally just in my opinion. The flaps on the F-22 give a little more stability, but don't really seem to make a big difference in landing . So far my F. 19 would out perform it but then again, I only have 50 hours in the 22 so far, so maybe I will improve the one thing I have noticed is the pitch of your propeller makes a big difference in float time, my F. 19 was set up for more of a climb prop and my F. 22 liens a little more towards cruise, I show , about 112 to 114 on the level at 2600, and consequently I get no braking action at idle. Like I did with my F. 19. Has anybody experienced anything similar to this?
