Re: data plate
My data plate is on the left rudder inspection cover. I don't know if that's good or not (more easily lost and windblown) or original. But it looks well stamped, probably replaced at the last restoration. But the black paint is coming off.
If I get picky, should I try to touch up the paint or get a new one. And should it be left where it is (probably or I'd be dealing with rivet holes - but repainting again later).
