  • Fuel Vent for 85 conversion

I'm getting ready to put in the main tank vent for the -85 Harer STC and was wondering about the connection point. The vague drawing illustrations seem to show either connecting at the top of the tank or in the side of the filler neck. Is there a preferred/required connection point? Is the vent normally routed up one of the support tubes in the center or can it be routed down and to the side and up the door post?

    Thanks.

On my -85 (dual wing tanks) they go up the side posts.

The drawing shows a tube welded to the filler neck. Some tanks have a port which I would use if your has it. THe F-19 and F-21 vent line goes up the left diagonal
