  • Info needed about F-19 legs on a BC12D

I would like to know what is needed (meaning paperwork) to install F-19 gear legs on Crispy(1946 BC12D)? Also will be adding right side brakes as well. I have the gear and mechanical cleveland brakes. Is this done with just a 337, do I need approval, or do I need to get a DER/DAR involved?
    Thanks

There is a company in Alaska that is gearing up to make NEW T-craft gear, I went and looked at thier Jigs last month and it maybe late winter before they get them going on some test sets but I am hopeful that they will be able to build them like we can now get struts. I am also hoping to get them to build tail feathers....both prewar and post war...if I keep my fingers crossed. Tim

I would be really interested in that! Would the axles be tapered or 1 1/4"s? Juice brakes would be nice too.

They will be 1.5's, nobody makes tapered wheels anymore and the axles would have to be special made for the taper. I sure like my hydraulic brakes...Tim

As of right now I'm in Anchorage, but I may be in Dillingham for a while this winter.
Ps. Was it 337 or stc?
