  • Need unshielded ignition leads

I just posted a new thread in the "Buy/Sell" section of the Taylorcraft Foundation sub-forum about wanting to buy serviceable unshielded ignition wires (and spare Case mags too, as always). If you've gone to shielded plugs but still have some of the old-fashioned leads laying around gathering dust, would you please take a look at my post over there?

    Thanks,

You can still get the plug wire at NAPA airplane parts for about .70 per foot, the ends I would recommend on getting new and soldering them on with PB37SN63 solder. Both Fresno and Skyranch should have them. Tim

Aha. Didn't occur to me that those would still be available new. Kevin Mays referred me to Cumberland Aero (606-561-5260) who had them in stock for $5 each. Thanks for the other source suggestions.

          Joel,
I have 2 Case mags from some T-craft/A-65 stuff I bought a while back. Both have gears and one has the impulse spring as I recall. I think a few screws for the case/covers are gone, but might be good for parts. Seem to be complete other than that. I can send you some pictures if you want. Just let me know and I'll dig them out at the hangar.
