It takes ten minutes to test for alcohol, and ten hours to disassemble a Taylorcraft sitting in someone's farm field... if you're lucky.
Like I said before, the newer car engines run on car gas with ethanol, so there is some reasonable solution out there somewhere. But it is probably very unwise to knowingly or un-kowingly put ethanol car gas in an un-modified airplane.
